The Department of Building Technology, Energy Systems, and Environmental Science is now seeking a research assistant in energy systems for a duration of 2 months with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Supporting research projects on energy communities through data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Compiling literature and summarizing the status in various countries, primarily within the Nordic region and Germany, but also at a European level (mainly analyzing EU regulations and directives).
- Collaboration: The role involves building and strengthening relationships with external actors within Swedish research and national and international organizations working with energy communities.
The position is based on the Gävle campus and includes close collaboration with other researchers and external partners.
Qualifications
To be employed as a research assistant, you should have:
- A Master's degree (120 credits) in energy systems or sustainable development with a relevant focus on the thesis for the project.
- Experience analyzing and working with legislative texts at the EU level as well as regulations in Germany and Sweden.
- Documented experience in scientific article writing.
- Strong proficiency in expressing yourself in Swedish, English, and German, both orally and in writing, is required.
Considering the nature of the employment and the tasks, we are looking for someone who has good collaborative skills, takes initiative, is adept at establishing contacts, and can maintain relationships.
