The Department of Odontology is part of the Sahlgrenska Academy and conducts education and research in the field of dentistry. Each year, 93 dentists, 32 dental hygienists, 20 dental technicians, 20 KUT dentists, and a number of doctoral students graduate.
The operations are conducted across 13 departments and in close collaboration with other institutions at the Sahlgrenska Academy and Public Dental Health in Västra Götaland. The department has approximately 110 employees.
Within the Department of Pedodontics, research is conducted on threats to children's health. Focus areas include caries, dental trauma, mineralization disorders, and pain. The department also participates in several national and international studies in these fields.
We are now seeking a researcher for the Department of Pedodontics.
**Job Responsibilities**
In this position, you will use your expertise to participate in and contribute to ongoing research within the department.
**Qualifications**
To be eligible for employment as a researcher, you must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant subject area for the tasks at hand.
In this position, the holder must also be a dentist with specialist competence in pedodontics.
**Employment**
The position is temporary until June 30, 2026, with a workload of 30%, based in Section 3, Department of Odontology, Sahlgrenska Academy.
