You are business-driven, see opportunities, and take responsibility for new customer outreach and strategic business development. **About Vaggeryds Maskin** Vaggeryds Maskin is a manufacturing company with processes in sheet metal processing, cutting, welding, and assembly, but also offers resources in mechanical engineering and project management. We take an active role in both business development and product development to create added value together with our clients, primarily consisting of leading companies in the forklift and materials handling industry. Vaggeryds Maskin has a turnover of approximately 40 million SEK, and the corporate group, which also includes Ljungsarps Mekaniska and Dendro Lift, has a turnover of about 150 million SEK and employs 70 people. **Our Culture** We are a small organization with short decision-making paths and close proximity to both production and management. As Sales Manager, you are the one who looks ahead, analyzes the market, identifies the right business opportunities, and transforms them into concrete strategies. You will have the freedom and trust to build our commercial operations with a clear sales strategy – focusing on targeting new markets and customers, as well as continuing to develop existing long-term partnerships that are already in place. You will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and the rest of the organization, where you act as a driving force and engine for business activities. With your experience and curiosity, you not only identify where we can grow – you also show how we can get there. **If We Could Wish** We are looking for someone who has not only sales and business development in their blood – but also the ability to see the bigger picture, analyze complex contexts, and translate insights into business. You likely have experience in the manufacturing industry, perhaps as a Key Account Manager, Business Manager, or in a broad role within a smaller company, where you are used to wearing multiple hats. We would like you to have: - Several years of experience in B2B sales or business development with a background in the manufacturing industry - Experience in working strategically with market analysis and customer outreach - Business acumen and a structured way of working - The ability to formulate and drive sales strategies - An engineering background is desirable but not crucial – what we are looking for is your sharp business intuition and drive **Is This the Right Place for You?** You are a doer with an analytical mind – a combination that allows you to see both the opportunities and how to realize them.
