Corporate Nurse

We are looking for a company nurse for our unit in Västervik Would you like to use your nursing skills in a new way, where you work more preventively and advisory with a focus on the entire working life? Here at Work Environment and Health, Region Kalmar County's own occupational health service, you will play an important role in ensuring our employees are healthy, able to perform, and develop over time. As a company nurse with us, you will be a vital part of a team that works on health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You will review health declarations for new employees and initiate appropriate measures, manage and follow up on needlestick injuries, and ensure that our employees have adequate vaccination protection. You will conduct statutory medical checks and health assessments, provide support in rehabilitation cases, and contribute to assessments of work capacity. You will hold mapping and health conversations, advise on work-related health issues, and work consultatively with managers and HR, often in close collaboration with other competencies in the team. The role also involves contributing to the development of our operations and work methods. You will have a varied day-to-day routine with meetings, administrative tasks, and development work. The job also includes travel to our clients and to the reception in Oskarshamn, providing variety and close contact with various operations in the region. About you We are looking for a licensed nurse. Working as a nurse with us is not a traditional nursing job. Here, you will apply your medical expertise and holistic view in a new way, with a more preventive and advisory focus on the entire working life, as well as in individual patient meetings. You may have previously worked in roles where collaboration, structure, and accountability have been important aspects. You thrive in a role where you can combine medical knowledge with strategic thinking and practical support for operations. You have good experience with administrative work and enjoy creating order, following up, and contributing to development. It is advantageous if you have training as a company nurse or experience from occupational health services. You communicate clearly, build trust, and are driven by finding solutions together with others.
