The Position:
We need to strengthen our operations with a vehicle technician for heavy vehicles (buses). You will be part of a small team, and together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for service, maintenance, and repairs of buses. The role includes troubleshooting, service, and repair. It is important that you are meticulous and take responsibility to ensure quality and safety in your work. Computer skills are meritorious as troubleshooting is largely done through computer-based analysis tools. This position is a 100% employment with a fixed monthly salary.
Qualifications/Characteristics:
We prefer candidates who have worked as a mechanic for heavy vehicles and have experience with vehicle electrical systems. Vehicle technical education is meritorious but not a formal requirement. Those who have completed a vehicle technical education and/or have at least 2-4 years of experience in similar tasks will quickly become effective in their new workplace. Experience with pneumatics and vehicle electrical systems is meritorious.
We are also open to hiring those interested in technology who would enjoy working with us.
Additionally:
- Class B driver's license
- Class D driver's license is considered meritorious
- Swedish in speech and writing, and knowledge of English
As a person, it is important that you are driven, flexible, solution-oriented, and responsible, with a great interest in technology and vehicles. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both individually and in a group.

About the Company:
Docksta Buss och Truck AB is a workshop company primarily focusing on heavy vehicles, mainly buses and taxi vehicles. We currently have approximately 25 employees. Our operations are distributed across seven workshops from Timrå in the south to Övik in the north, all located near Byberg & Nordin's depots, whose vehicles we maintain through a service agreement. Byberg & Nordin Busstrafik AB is a third-generation family business. Our operations include everything from line traffic, school transportation, taxi and special transportation, group travel, and express bus services. We are also travel arrangers for trips by bus, plane, and boat in Sweden, Nordic countries, and Europe.
Byberg & Nordin has nearly 600 employees and over 350 vehicles.
