Kubikenborg Aluminium AB is Sweden's only primary aluminum producer and one of the largest industrial companies in Sundsvall. The factory was built in 1942, and we have the capacity to manufacture 130,000 tons of aluminum per year. The final product, consisting of ingots, is delivered to presses and rolling mills across Europe. Kubal currently has 460 employees.
The Vehicle Group currently consists of 5 mechanics, and we are now seeking a new team member for day shift.
Work hours are 07:00-15:36.
As a mechanic, your main tasks will be preventive maintenance of the machinery fleet, as well as planned and urgent repairs.
We have a partnership with Hencon, so the working language is both English and Swedish.
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in similar work as a vehicle mechanic, preferably with heavy machinery such as agricultural, mining, or forestry equipment.
The work requires basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/CAN bus systems.
You have a strong interest in mechanical work and enjoy practical tasks.
As a person, you are positive, service-oriented, and committed. Since urgent matters can arise, it is important that you are solution-oriented, flexible, and creative.
You are driven, have good collaboration skills, and are meticulous in your work approach.
