A job close to life and death
With us, you build trust and confidence with our clients and serve as a guide during a time that is filled with sorrow and uncertainty for many. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the responsibilities as a transporter and ceremony host include:
• Acting as a representative in churches and chapels during ceremonies, which involves overall responsibility for ensuring that the ceremony meets the client's specifications satisfactorily
• Handling the deceased in preparation for the ceremony
• Performing pickups of the deceased from private homes and care facilities
• Assisting our clients during personal farewells
For our transportation unit in Western Sörmland, Eskilstuna, which handles pickups of the deceased, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team. The position is based at the Eskilstuna office every day and is a full-time temporary position starting immediately or as agreed until 2026-08-31, with a good chance of extension.
What you bring with you
• A valid driver's license and good driving experience with larger vehicles in urban environments
• Good physical condition, as several heavy lifts are part of the job
• You are structured and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work, even when the pace varies
• Experience in customer-focused work
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems is an advantage
• Willingness to work outside of office hours: Currently, we operate on an eight-week schedule, which includes evening and weekend work
• It is advantageous if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields
