About this role

Every day, the Tenants' Association, its elected representatives, employees, and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have done this for many years and want to continue working for tenants' interests, rights, and opportunities to influence their housing in the future. Now we need reinforcement and are seeking a social movement developer for the Tenants' Association, Region Aros-Gävle. Your Assignment As a social movement developer, you will play a crucial role in developing our movement. The core task is to increase people's engagement. You will support our members and elected representatives in jointly developing their residential areas; creating tenant influence, security, and community. Your assignment includes developing cooperation with housing companies, municipalities, and other organizations to broaden our organization and reach new target groups. The position involves planning, follow-up, and reporting on activities, as well as working with contracts and project applications. You will also contribute to skills development for elected members. Working hours are primarily during the day. Some evening and weekend work occurs when working with elected representatives. Your Background We are looking for someone who is social, good at engaging and enthusing people, and has the ability to meet people with respect and openness. You must be unpretentious, creative, innovative, and imaginative. Important qualities include the ability to transform initiatives and theory into action and encourage others to contribute ideas. You should be experienced in project management and see opportunities in diversity. Everyone working at the Tenants' Association must share our values and be committed to the issues we advocate for.
