About this role

We are looking for an aircraft technician who wants to help drive our aircraft maintenance efforts forward. About the position As an aircraft technician, you will play a central role in carrying out aircraft maintenance (preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modifications) on aircraft under the guidance of supervisors and managers. The goal is to provide aircraft systems with or without test installations for flight testing, flight training, or flight education. The most important task is to perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved documentation. The position is based in Linköping. About you We are looking for someone with a basic aircraft technician education. The position requires that you easily understand technical publications in Swedish and English (simplified English). You must have a valid driver's license for passenger cars (B) and satisfactory color vision. You will also need an approved health examination (which will be conducted) for work with thermosetting plastics. It is advantageous if you have a valid civilian or military aircraft technician certificate category B1 as well as type training for JAS39 C/D and/or E. Training in military modules and on systems FENIX and MGSS is also considered a merit. Additionally, it is beneficial if you have a truck driver's license (C) and training in IFTEX. Having a valid SE-EMAR 66 certificate is an advantage, and we would prefer candidates with experience in the maintenance of airborne weaponry as well as knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations, working methods, and equipment. The operation is based on the verification and validation of aviation-related products, primarily on military platforms such as Gripen and helicopters. The goal of the operation is to clearly and systematically support other FMV departments with specialized expertise within VoV. T&E Air should also have the competence to lead VoV activities.
