The position includes work as an airport firefighter, ramp services, field maintenance services, aviation security, and other related tasks. As an operational airport worker, you will work closely with airlines and passengers, managing the daily operations of the airport facilities from the runway to hangars and baggage handling, operating snow removal vehicles and/or maintaining technical equipment. Ramp work is often demanding, requiring good physical fitness. Special training and qualifications are required for all assignments, which you will receive during your employment at the airport.
The following qualifications are basic requirements:
· Class C driver's license for trucks
· Good physical condition to meet the requirements of an airport firefighter (you must have or pass a test)
· Normal color vision
· Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
· Basic computer skills required
We consider it an advantage and merit if you also have:
· Training as an airport firefighter
· Certification for wheel loaders and telehandlers
· Experience in administrative work
Your profile:
We are looking for someone who is responsible, takes initiative when needed, and is a strong team player. You can work effectively according to established routines and are flexible and responsive when circumstances change. The year at the airport has significant seasonal variations with changing tasks depending on the season.
Upon employment, a background check and security clearance will be conducted by the airport, and our occupational health service (Falck) will perform alcohol markers, drug tests, and physiological tests.
Employment:
Full-time, shift work.
Salary according to agreement.
Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period applies.
