About the Unit
The Aircraft Maintenance Unit is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of our Gripen aircraft and all maintenance equipment associated with the aircraft. The unit also handles daily flight operations, including preparation and readiness. Our work is primarily focused on national missions, but international operations also occur. The Aircraft Maintenance Unit consists of unit management, 11th and 12th Aircraft Maintenance Companies, the aircraft workshop, and Availability Group 94. The Aircraft Workshop comprises four sections, including an aircraft workshop where we perform heavy maintenance on JAS 39.
Main Responsibilities
As an aircraft mechanic in the aircraft workshop, you will be part of one of our teams performing heavy maintenance on JAS 39 Gripen aircraft, including preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs in modern workshop facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Completed technical education at high school level and/or equivalent knowledge that can be assessed as equivalent by the employer
• Driver's license class B (manual) at minimum
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
