About this role
We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse for a temporary position as one of our team members is going on parental leave.
The role focuses on working with patients who have atrial fibrillation, where you will play an important role in both treatment and follow-up.
About the job
In the atrial fibrillation section, we work with a structured approach to caring for patients with atrial fibrillation. Patients with newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation or those with known atrial fibrillation experiencing inadequate symptom control are referred to us.
In the atrial fibrillation clinic, you will have significant patient contact; providing information about atrial fibrillation and lifestyle, creating a patient plan, and following up after ablation treatment or initiation of antiarrhythmics. This contact may occur via phone or in-person visits.
The role also involves planning and participating in elective electrical cardioversions on weekdays. We have a high volume of referrals, and patient follow-up occurs based on medical assessment.
About the workplace
At the Heart Clinic, you will become part of our team, engaging in a developing, exciting, and independent role within a group of high competence and great commitment. You will be offered continuous professional development in the field. We are a cheerful group that works in teams, consisting of doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries cooperating to ensure well-conducted examinations and patient interactions. Our focus is on providing a good and professional experience for patients, relatives, and colleagues. We are located next to the cardiac ward 5C.
If this sounds exciting, do not hesitate to apply. You are warmly welcome to submit your application!
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiology.
As a person, we see that you enjoy working in a team, have a good demeanor, and are skilled at structuring your work. The position will involve a high degree of independent work where you feel confident making your own decisions. We assume that you have a patient-focused approach and good communication skills. You are flexible, have strong collaboration abilities, and feel a great commitment and responsibility for your work.
Is this something you find exciting to work with? You are warmly welcome to submit your application!
