We are now seeking a helpdesk/first line support specialist for our client. About the Assignment Our client is seeking consulting assistance to further develop their IT support into a modern and well-functioning service desk. The goal is to create a structure that streamlines case management and enables correct prioritization of incoming issues. Our client has approximately 650 employees and uses Office 2021, Teams, and Windows 11 on user workstations. SCCM is used to manage updates and packaged applications, ensuring smooth and efficient IT environment management. Seize the chance to work at an agency that makes a difference! The assignment includes staffing on-site support according to a set schedule during office hours at our client's office in Östersund. The work is full-time, 100%. The assignment starts in Nov/Dec 2025 and continues until April 2026 with the possibility of a longer extension. The role requires a security clearance. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to strengthening the support function, where user queries, orders, and troubleshooting are handled with end-users' needs at the center. Together with the team, you will ensure a smooth and user-friendly process that supports the organization as a whole. As a consultant, you will provide support, installation, and service support for both hardware and software. Tasks include: • Installation and delivery of computers, phones, and video conference equipment • Administration of IT environments such as printers and permissions • Assisting employees with various system support The IT support at our client is primarily 1st line support, focusing on service requests. The function receives user inquiries and ensures sufficient information is available for the support organization to resolve the issue. For more complex cases, there are: • 2nd line support • Operations organization handling networks, firewalls, servers, and other technical issues The assignment involves troubleshooting by "shadowing users" using digital tools, which requires being comfortable in the role and able to conduct a secure dialogue with end-users. Issues are primarily received through the Efecte ticketing system, but also through on-site support. The function is also responsible for a shared functional mailbox for external collaboration spaces, such as SharePoint. Your Qualifications • Higher education in IT (e.g., technical college degree with computer focus) or equivalent IT education and at least one (1) year of work experience in similar roles.
