We are now looking for a helpdesk/first line support professional for our client. About the assignment Our client is seeking consultancy support to further develop their IT support into a modern and well-functioning service desk. The goal is to create a structure that streamlines case management and enables proper prioritization of incoming requests. Our client has approximately 650 employees and uses Office 2021, Teams, and Windows 11 on their users' workstations. To manage updates and packaged applications, SCCM is used, ensuring smooth and efficient management of the IT environment. Take the opportunity to work at an authority that makes a difference! The assignment includes providing on-site support according to a fixed schedule during office hours at our client's office in Solna. The position is full-time, 100%. The assignment starts in January 2026 and runs until August 2026, with the possibility of a longer extension. The role requires a security clearance. Your responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to strengthening the support function, where user inquiries, orders, and troubleshooting are handled with the end users' needs at the center. Together with the team, you will ensure a smooth and user-friendly process that enhances the overall operation. As a consultant, you will provide support, installation, and service assistance for both hardware and software. Your tasks will include: • Installation and delivery of computers, phones, and video conferencing equipment • Administration of IT environments such as printers and permissions • Assisting employees with various types of system support The IT support at our client primarily focuses on 1st line support, where the emphasis is on service requests. The function receives user inquiries and ensures that sufficient information is available for the support organization to resolve the case. For more complex issues, there is also: • 2nd line support • An operations organization that manages networks, firewalls, servers, and other technical matters The assignment includes troubleshooting by "shadowing users" using digital tools, which requires confidence in your role and the ability to engage in a secure dialogue with end users. Requests are primarily received through our case management system Efecte, but also through on-site support. The function is also responsible for a shared functional mailbox for external collaboration areas, such as SharePoint. Your qualifications • A higher education in IT (for example, a bachelor's degree in computer engineering) or another equivalent IT education, along with at least one (1) year of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent knowledge and two (2) years of work experience in a similar role. • Good knowledge of computers, peripherals, operating systems, networks, communication, and information security. • Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent. • Knowledge of case management systems (for example, Easit BPS or Artologik Helpdesk). • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Desirable qualifications • Strong experience with the case management system Efecte. • Previous experience working at a government agency.
