We are seeking a Finnish-speaking preschool teacher for our Finnish-speaking department Ruuhi at Fyrbåken preschool within the Northern Skarpnäck preschool area. The Northern Skarpnäck preschools consist of 13 preschools located in Hammarbyhöjden, Björkhagen, and Kärrtorp. The preschools collaborate on educational development, which is reflected in shared internal training and joint services that support the educational content. The preschools offer beautiful indoor environments, and we have fantastic natural surroundings that provide endless opportunities for children to engage with nature, movement, and play. The children should be met with a creative, playful, and educational environment with meaningful content. As an adult and professional, you engage with the children with warmth, curiosity, and care in both large and small matters. You ensure that the day is well-organized and adapted to the pace of younger children. You actively work towards building trusting and collaborative relationships with all families. You participate in further education and contribute to mutual learning in various professional development contexts. Your qualifications and experience Qualifications: - Certified preschool teacher. - Experience working in a preschool setting. - Good knowledge of Finnish and Swedish. - Experience working according to the Reggio Emilia educational approach is advantageous. We are looking for someone who: - Takes responsibility for leading, planning, and following up on the educational content to stimulate and challenge children’s playful learning and development. - Ideally has knowledge of aesthetic expressions and can integrate these into daily interactions with the children. - Takes responsibility for creating a pedagogical environment that is creative, aesthetic, and full of opportunities for children's playful learning and exploration. - Views pedagogical documentation and reflection as essential tools for deepening the educational work alongside children and colleagues. - Has a fundamentally positive approach and sees the value in mutual learning, collaboration, and participation among all, including children, guardians, and colleagues. - Is curious, attentive, and caring in your interactions with our youngest citizens.
