Aimpoint AB was a pioneer behind the very first red dot sight - a groundbreaking invention that has made the company a global leader in its field. All of Aimpoint's production takes place within Sweden's borders at their two production facilities in Malmö and Gällivare, with its headquarters in Malmö.
We are now seeking fine mechanical assemblers for their production. Work tasks will involve assembly at various stations and with different stages. The tasks require precision and great attention to detail. It is work performed with high quality at an efficient pace. During the recruitment process, you as a candidate will get to do trial assembly, undergo a comprehensive background check, and a health examination.
The position is full-time, and you will initially be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at Aimpoint. There are good opportunities to be taken over and directly employed by Aimpoint after the initial consulting assignment. We are looking for someone who sees the position long-term.
Working hours are divided into two shifts Monday-Friday, alternating weeks from 06:00-14:20, and alternating weeks from 14:20-22:40. There will also be a night shift where those working this shift only work nights with working hours 22:40-05:30. Start of the position is estimated during the fall and will begin with a thorough introductory training.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking someone who has an eye for detail, good precision, and a technical interest. Previous experience in fine motor assembly work is highly meritorious, but not a requirement. As a person, we believe you are meticulous and enjoy structure. You are a calm person who still prefers to work at a dynamic and efficient pace in various processes. Since many tasks are monotonous, we believe you have good concentration skills and enjoy working according to clear instructions and processes. As all communication and instructions are in Swedish, you need to have good Swedish in both speech and understanding.
Other experience that is meritorious:
- Background in fine motor work
- Experience in industrial work
- Background in the beauty industry (e.g., eyelash extensions or nail building)
