Colmec is the leading distributor of truck and bus tires in Scandinavia and Poland and is part of the Citira Group. They have experienced strong expansion in recent years, and with a growth strategy, they are now strengthening their finance function further by hiring a Financial Controller for the office in Norrköping. Mpya Finance has been tasked with managing the recruitment process.
We are looking for someone motivated by accounting, financial data analysis, and identifying areas for improvement to make processes more efficient.
Main Responsibilities
As a Financial Controller, you will work in a smaller team and have close collaboration with group companies. The role is broad, featuring a delightful mix of accounting, reporting, and support to operational managers on various issues.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Colmec AB
• Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with applicable laws and standards
• Annual report
• Budgeting
• Conduct revenue, cost, and profitability analyses
• Reporting to group management and operational managers
• Liaison with external parties such as auditors and authorities
Who are we looking for?
We see that you, as an applicant for this position, have a university degree or equivalent in finance. You have several years of relevant work experience in accounting and financial reporting and can independently compile financial statements according to K3 regulations. A background in manufacturing companies is considered an advantage.
Furthermore, you possess strong system skills and are an excellent user of Microsoft Office. Experience working with Jeeves and/or AARO is a plus. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Since the role involves many points of contact, you are communicative and pedagogical with the ability to guide colleagues.
