Financial Controller and Accounting Economist - Malmö

We are currently seeking an Accounting & Financial Controller for our client. The Digital & IT Organization has undergone significant changes in recent years, during which financial and accounting processes have not received sufficient focus. This has led to an outdated and non-standardized approach to transactional services (primarily internal, but also external). To drive standardization, digitalization, and automation in the accounting area, we are now seeking a combined accounting and controller profile who can support the Digital & IT Organization in future-proofing its financial structure. Primary Responsibilities Support the Digital & IT Organization in all financial matters, including: 1. Transactional Services (Accounting Operations) • Have overall responsibility for standardized accounting processes within DigIT, for both internal and external transactions. • Ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting (SAP S/4). 2. Operational Excellence – Improvement Work • Lead improvement initiatives in controlling and accounting for DigIT, in close collaboration with Global Finance. • Drive efficiency projects focusing on current state mapping, standardization, simplification, digitalization, and automation to reduce complexity and increase efficiency. Qualifications • Academic degree in accounting, finance, or similar. • Documented experience in leading process or improvement work in finance. • Excellent proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP. • Experience in accounting within IT or software sector is advantageous. • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
