About this role

Job Description Our client is now seeking a Financial Controller to support the financial reporting processes. The following will make you successful in this role: • Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent education • At least 5-10 years of qualified accounting experience in insurance • Experience working with IFRS and/or local accounting standards (e.g., BFNAR) • Previous work with financial reports, annual accounts, and annual reports • Experience with branch reporting, auditing, internal control, or regulatory reporting is highly meritorious • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Additional merits include: • Experience from insurance companies (life, property, or reinsurance) • Experience from audit firms with insurance clients • Worked with regulatory reporting to the Financial Supervisory Authority or similar agency • Responsible for annual financial statements and consolidated financial reporting • Experience in branch reporting • Experience with financial analyses related to insurance products • Leadership experience As a person, you are analytical, detailed, and structured with the ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are accustomed to working with deadlines.
