Do you want to be part of building the Swedish operations of an international company in the mining and precious metals trading sector? Andean Precious Metals is now seeking a driven Finance Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
About the Role
As Finance Manager at Andean PM, you will be responsible for leading and developing the company's financial reporting and accounting in Sweden. You will ensure that financial reports are prepared in accordance with both Swedish accounting standards and IFRS, in order to meet regulatory requirements as well as the group's consolidation needs in Toronto.
You will work closely with both Swedish and international teams and have overall responsibility for ongoing accounting, including inventory changes, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and currency management. You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, actively contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and analyze the company's financial performance. The role also involves contact with external auditors, banks, and authorities.
You will play an important role in developing and improving financial processes and systems, contributing to the creation of an efficient and transparent finance function that supports the company's strategic goals. Among other things, you will drive the implementation of the company's ERP system.
The position is located on Kungsgatan in Stockholm, and you will report directly to the Swedish Country Manager.
We are looking for someone who
Has an academic degree in finance, and having an accounting certification is a plus. You have at least five years of experience in accounting and a good understanding of both Swedish accounting regulations and IFRS. Experience from the mining or commodities industry is highly desirable.
You are accustomed to working with financial reporting, have excellent skills in Excel and financial systems, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. You are analytical, structured, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
