**About the Position** At this globally leading player in electron microscopy, you will take on a broad technical role where you work with advanced instrumentation for customers across the Nordic region. The team you will join consists of highly skilled technicians, many of whom have extensive experience and specialized knowledge in areas such as mechatronics, physics, and chemistry. The role involves close collaboration with users who themselves possess a high technical level, which demands both your communication and technical skills. You will work in a general capacity rather than a niche, participating in the entire process from installation to field support. This is a role for someone who enjoys deep technical engagement as well as customer interaction. **Your Future Responsibilities** The position entails a general technician responsibility where you work hands-on with high-tech equipment, engage with high-tech customer environments, and manage your own assignments in the field. You will, for example: - Install, configure, and commission advanced electron microscopes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electronic, and software-related components. - Maintain and upgrade customer equipment. - Conduct user training and create technical documentation as needed. - Work independently with customer contact, building trust and credibility. - Plan and undertake travel, primarily within the Nordic region but also internationally as required. **We Are Looking For Someone Who** - Has a technical educational background, such as a vocational engineer with several years of experience in electronics service, a bachelor's or master's degree in physics/chemistry/mechatronics, or a PhD with a hands-on focus. - Has experience in practical instrumentation beyond just automotive work, ideally related to research or laboratory environments. - Is fluent in English, both spoken and written, including technical communication via email and documentation. - Speaks and writes a Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish), which facilitates contacts throughout the region. - Is comfortable traveling at least 70 nights per year and can manage unforeseen changes in schedule. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience working with electron microscopy or similar instruments. - Experience in building long-term relationships in specialist environments. As a person, you are solution-oriented and responsible. You enjoy diving into complex technical environments, solving problems directly or collaboratively, and have the ability to communicate clearly with knowledgeable users. You are flexible and capable of working in a dynamic environment where the nature and scope of assignments may vary. **Additional Information** Start: By agreement (recruitment begins before the end of the year, with a start in April/May) Workplace: Based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö. Offices are located in Stockholm. Scope: Full-time Travel: Approximately 70 nights/year, primarily within the Nordic region but also longer assignments Company Car: Yes **About the Client** The client is an international company that offers electron microscopes and advanced analytical tools to industry, research, and production. They stand for quality, customer proximity, and long-term commitment, which is also reflected in their Nordic team.
