About the Position
In this role, you will work as a field mechanic. Specifically, your primary tasks will be troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining machines and actively contributing to improvement work. You will be based at the head office in Kungsbacka, with regular business travel, primarily in southern Sweden.
The job includes, for example:
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the machine fleet, including drilling rigs, construction machinery, pumps, compressors, and other foundation equipment.
• Performing work independently or alongside operators at construction sites or in the workshop.
• Providing expertise to operators and management
• Participating in improvement and development work related to the machine fleet & workshop
• Reporting machine status, completed work, and proposed actions to management
• Helping to ensure equipment-related spare parts and materials are in stock
• Coordinating purchases and spare parts needs in dialogue with workshop manager and purchaser
• Documenting work in work orders, service journals, and potentially business systems
About You
For the Field Mechanic role, we are primarily seeking a person who wants to develop. To get into the role as quickly as possible, it is advantageous if you have a strong interest in service, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Formal Qualifications
• Previous experience working as a mechanic
• Knowledge and experience in hydraulics, machine electronics
• Practical experience with machinery
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B, C/CE is meritorious
