We now welcome applicants who are nursing assistants to our cozy elderly care facility, Trollängen.
In the role of nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide quality care, service, and support to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Trollängen is a special accommodation facility with a total of six departments: three for dementia care, two for somatic care, and one short-term/temporary care department focused on cognitive impairments. Each department accommodates 9-10 residents. Trollängen is situated in the calm area of Trollbäcken, close to buses, shops, pharmacies, and green spaces. It is easily accessible from Gullmarsplan, Stora Sköndal, and Haninge.

As a nursing assistant, you will work on care and support based on residents’ wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions and always with a strong focus on quality. You will work in a team, alongside the responsible nurse and the rehabilitation and activity team. You will be responsible for nursing interventions for the residents based on decisions, implementation plans, and care plans. Your tasks will include assisting residents with personal hygiene, responding to alarms, handling laundry, cleaning, serving meals, and facilitating social interactions. You will also work on delegated tasks from licensed staff, including medication administration and training. You are responsible for adhering to applicable legislation, routines, and policies. As a nursing assistant, you will be a contact person for one to two residents. You will participate in daily planning and follow up to ensure that interventions are performed successfully. You will document in our journal system, and your work involves communication and contact with relatives.
Job Description
We are currently seeking new colleagues for permanent employment with a working percentage of “68-75%,” starting according to agreement. The schedule is a rolling 4-week rotation and includes work every other weekend.
To be considered for the position, you need to:
• Have a certificate from the Socialstyrelsen confirming your status as a nursing assistant
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Previous experience in elderly care and dementia care, as well as experience in short-term and respite care, is seen as an advantage.
To thrive in this position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being skilled at building good relationships and providing service. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you feel comfortable in both environments.
Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require valid Swedish work authorization, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
