About this role
Property Technician for Lindex Warehouse Operations in Alingsås
Do you have an interest in technology and buildings, and enjoy fixing, improving things, and solving problems? We are now looking for a Property Technician who wants to help ensure that our state-of-the-art facility maintains high standards in both safety and functionality.
Your Role in Our Team
As a Property Technician at Lindex, you are our everyday hero who makes sure everything functions as it should! You oversee the operation, maintenance, and service of our newly built property and its technical systems at the facility in Alingsås. You work closely with your colleagues in maintenance and report to the Maintenance Manager – together you form a strong team.
In your daily work, you alternate between practical tasks and smart solutions: you conduct inspections of ventilation, fire protection, electrical and water installations, and handle both preventive and urgent maintenance measures. You keep track of administrative tasks and maintain contact with our external suppliers and contractors. In short – you ensure that our property is safe, energy-efficient, and in top condition for the operations to run smoothly. There is also an opportunity for professional development in warehouse automation for those who wish to grow with Lindex.
The position is permanent and begins with a probationary period. Start date to be agreed upon.
Is This You?
You are meticulous, structured, and have a strong drive. As a team player with good communication skills, you enjoy sharing your knowledge in your area of expertise. You are a problem solver who is handy and accustomed to practical work. Since we have several systems that keep our facility organized, we believe you should also be curious about digital tools/systems. You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Technical education in property management, HVAC, electrical, or similar from a university or vocational school.
- At least two years of work experience as a property technician or in the operation and maintenance of properties.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Driver's license (B).
- Experience with control and monitoring systems, ventilation, heating, cooling, and energy optimization is an advantage.
- Experience with 5S or similar improvement work is a plus.
