Property Technician – JSR Properties

A hands-on role for those who love technology and want to be on-site. JSR Fastigheter is seeking a property technician who wants to take clear technical responsibility in property management and contribute to developing and future-proofing the company’s properties. The role is aimed at someone who enjoys being close to operations, preferably on-site, and who wants to work practically with all aspects of the properties' technical functions. This is an important key role for JSR Fastigheter – an opportunity to step in and fill a need that is currently lacking in the organization. About the Role As a Property Technician, you will have operational responsibility for the properties' technical systems and ongoing technical operations. The work is practical, varied, and offers great freedom. You will work with the properties in the field about three days a week, with the remaining time spent at the office on Folkungagatan in Södermalm. The properties managed by JSR are located throughout the Stockholm area. This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, seeing things with their own eyes, finding solutions, identifying technical deficiencies, and ensuring that the technology functions as it should. Examples of Responsibilities • Conduct rounds and technical inspections of the properties' installations (ventilation, heating, electricity, cooling, etc.). • Follow up on operational deviations, fault reports, and inspection requirements, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented. • Develop and contribute to maintenance plans and energy-saving solutions. • Collaborate with property managers, contractors, and installers, acting as technical support in projects. • Meet tenants as needed, for example, regarding technical questions or site walkthroughs. • Contribute with technical descriptions and documentation for improvements, renovations, or smaller projects. This is a hands-on role where practical understanding and technical curiosity are highly valued. Who Fits the Role? JSR is looking for a person who is genuinely interested in technology – preferably a true tech enthusiast in a positive sense – who enjoys solving problems and takes responsibility for seeing tasks through to completion. You do not need to know everything, but you should have a good understanding of property technical installations and have worked in a similar role or on the installation side. You should have: • Experience in installation, technical management, operations, or service within areas such as ventilation, HVAC, control/regulation, or electricity. • Practical understanding of property technical systems. • Ability to identify and analyze technical faults and propose solutions. • Good communication skills and confidence in interacting with tenants and contractors. • An independent and structured working style. • A valid driver's license (B category). About the Employment This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday, with the ambition that the client will take over your employment after 12 months.
