Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket, SSHL, is a boarding school operated in foundation form through the Sigtuna School Foundation, with roots dating back to the 1920s. The school currently has approximately 550 students; students who live on campus, boarding students, as well as day students who live at home and come from nearby areas. The school offers education in both Swedish and international study programs; the Swedish upper secondary school and the IB programs MYP, Diploma, and CP. This means that the school embodies both a Swedish and an international culture. Currently, there are students from about 45 different countries at the school.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are now seeking a Property Technician for a full-time position (100%):
As a Property Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and corrective maintenance of technical installations, such as ventilation systems, geothermal heat pumps, cooling systems, oil boilers, district heating, pressurized vessels, and control and monitoring systems. You will also maintain good energy management and be responsible for energy monitoring. Other tasks include proposing preventive measures and maintenance to reduce energy costs in the properties.
The role also includes delegated responsibility for the implementation and actions of authority inspections as well as internal maintenance of properties, including general oversight and maintenance of common areas. You will also work with property rounds and technical supervision, as well as actions to ensure that the property is in good condition, corrective actions in fault management systems, repairs, and ongoing service work.
During the summer, you will work with others in the team on gardening tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Your profile:
The ideal candidate should have a higher education/university degree in property technology, operational technology, property management, or equivalent, and preferably have several years of experience in the role of operational technician or property caretaker.
You need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked in an international environment.
A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
To succeed in this role, you must have a structured working method, be practical, and possess administrative skills.
You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward both independently and in a team.
Working in culturally historical environments is something you value, and you understand the special requirements that are placed in such settings.
