Two of our colleagues will soon retire, and we are now looking for their successors.
As a property caretaker with us, you are an essential part of an engaged team responsible for the operation of the municipality's properties, ranging from schools and preschools to nursing homes, LSS housing, libraries, town halls, and sports facilities. Together, we make Kungälv a little better!
Responsibilities
You will work alongside a lead property manager and about ten other property caretakers. Together, you are responsible for planning and executing effective and purposeful property maintenance. The role includes rounds, corrective maintenance, and addressing reported issues. The unit also includes technical managers and operations technicians who oversee the overall control and regulation systems for HVAC, locking, alarm, and access systems.
You will make purchases and order work that you cannot resolve yourself from our framework agreement suppliers. You will follow up to ensure that the work is completed satisfactorily and then handle the invoicing.
As a property caretaker with us, you will also serve as the facility manager for your properties. You will be on call every 6 weeks and be part of our "Property Emergency Service." The response time is 1 hour.
Maintenance of green spaces and ice prevention is carried out by contracted entrepreneurs.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have relevant education in the property sector (or another practical/technical education deemed equivalent by the employer) and at least 2 years of experience in the property industry.
You are a service-oriented person who enjoys problem-solving and adapts to different situations and individuals. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for your tasks and working in a structured manner.
It is advantageous if you have any of the following certifications: Facility Manager, Aerial Lift, or Hot Work.
You possess sufficient IT skills to manage digital case management systems, orders, and invoices. We would also appreciate experience with on-call work.
For this role, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
