The Riksbank is facing several challenging and exciting real estate and facility projects. The most significant project involves the renovation of the Riksbank's headquarters. As the Property Manager, you will lead the long-term development of the Riksbank's real estate portfolio.
YOUR ROLE WITH US
The Riksbank both leases premises and owns several properties. This means that in your role at the Riksbank, you will act as a developer, tenant, and requirements setter for space adaptations. The Riksbank's headquarters is one of the properties owned by the Riksbank.
You will be responsible for managing and developing the Riksbank's own properties, which, in addition to the headquarters, include value management offices in Märsta and Falun, as well as leased premises in Stockholm and across the country. The role also includes overall responsibility for the Riksbank's internal service functions, which are largely outsourced. In parallel with the operational space assignment, the unit also works on the continuous development of methods and processes within the framework of the Riksbank's mission.
As a manager, you will support and develop employees and operations. This means building teams, delegating responsibilities, leading towards goals, inspiring, and ensuring that there is a good structure for the work. You will drive both strategic and operational issues and be part of the department's management team. The unit has many collaborations both internally and externally.
The Riksbank's headquarters is in urgent need of technical upgrades and renovations and will therefore be evacuated during this work. The project is led by a program manager, and as the Property Manager, you will participate in the program by representing the property owner. Once the renovation is complete, you will be responsible for managing the property. You will also be responsible for staffing all parts of the program with the right expertise in the real estate field.
YOUR TEAM
The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The Property and Service unit belongs to the Department of Internal Governance and Operational Support and consists of approximately 15 employees. The unit is responsible for driving real estate projects, construction contracts, property management, maintenance planning, as well as the management and monitoring of contracts and suppliers within the unit's areas of responsibility.
MORE ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or equivalent training and work experience deemed comparable by the employer, along with at least ten years of experience in the real estate industry. You have several years of experience working as a personnel manager in a role that includes managing and developing a real estate portfolio. Additionally, you have experience working in the public sector. You possess knowledge and experience in contract management and procurement within the area of responsibility. Experience from a government agency is an advantage.
As a person, you are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, enabling you to handle a high workload. You are goal- and results-oriented and take significant responsibility for the overall picture. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. You are proactive and decisive. You are interested in and have experience with development and change work. Since the job involves many collaborations both within the organization and externally with suppliers and partners, it is important that you are skilled at and enjoy collaborating, communicating, and building professional relationships. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Remote work possibility: 1 or 2 days a week
