Job Responsibilities You will work across various healthcare pharmacy areas including: - Ward pharmacist duties - Practical pharmaceutical management (pharmaceutical service) including narcotic management in medication dispensers and fluid cart handling - Extemporaneous preparation (if you have experience) From autumn 2026, when we take over pharmaceutical supply for Region Västmanland's four hospitals, order management of pharmaceutical orders will become a comprehensive task. Responsibilities may also include inventory management, stock shortage handling, license applications, etc. As a Pharmacy Service employee, there is potential to develop your own area of responsibility based on interest and competence. About the Workplace Healthcare Pharmacy is part of the Healthcare Administration, with Pharmacy Service being a unit within Healthcare Pharmacy. We are currently 25 employees, responsible for pharmaceutical supply to all regional units, primarily four hospitals in Västerås, Köping, Sala, and Fagersta, as well as external units like healthcare centers, dental clinics, and municipal residences. Qualifications We seek a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy graduate. Experience in hospital-based pharmaceutical supply, extemporaneous preparation, and radiopharmaceutical preparation is advantageous. You should have: - Excellent Swedish language skills - Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Adaptability and decision-making skills Employment Terms Permanent position.
