The pharmacy is located in the heart of Uppsala, right on the pedestrian street, surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants, and libraries - a vibrant area with diverse customer traffic. Our customers primarily consist of families with children, students, and people on the go, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in their daily lives. You'll be part of an engaged and positive team consisting of two pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians, who together take great responsibility for operations and always strive to deliver top-class customer experiences. The pharmacy is also part of a cluster with Kronans Apotek Kvarnengallerian. This means you'll be part of a larger context and an even stronger team - with an additional four pharmacists and three pharmacy technicians - where we collaborate and develop together. The daily work is varied and includes everything from advising and selling medications and self-care products to inventory management, campaigns, quality work, and development. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business complies with current laws, regulations, and ordinances for community pharmacies. The role includes the following tasks within your area of responsibility: - Dispense medications and offer safe and professional patient counseling, contributing to a high-quality customer experience. - Contribute to participation and good collaboration within the pharmacy through close cooperation with colleagues. - Ensure that regular self-inspections of the pharmacy are conducted and that the pharmacy meets self-control requirements. - Handle deviations and deficiencies that arise in the pharmacy, assess these, and take necessary actions. - Have overall responsibility for following up the quality of operations and contribute to spreading knowledge about proper medication use and quality within the team. The pharmacy is open 09-19 on weekdays, 10-17 on Saturdays, and 12-16 on Sundays. We offer a permanent full-time or part-time position, and you will be part of Pharmacy Manager Ibtesam Murad's team. Desired start in January 2026 or by agreement. We are seeking someone who is a licensed pharmacist. You have extensive experience as a pharmacist and want to share your knowledge to contribute to proper medication use and improved health - for both customers and colleagues. For the Responsible Pharmacist role, you need to have at least two years of experience from a Swedish community pharmacy and at least one year of documented quality work.
