Family Therapist for Early Support

About the Role and Your Responsibilities The Labor Market and Social Administration is seeking a Family Therapist for Early Support. An increasing number of parents and children are participating in our services. We are now strengthening the unit with an additional family therapist. At the Early Support Unit, you will have 16 colleagues working to support parents and children in many different ways. The unit offers various interventions without need assessment that you will help implement. The work involves providing support to families with children aged 0-17 individually and in groups, with a special focus on families with young children. The unit is currently conducting extensive development work that you will be involved in. You may also need to work on other tasks occurring in the unit. As a family therapist with us, you will have significant personal responsibility and need to be able to work independently while establishing good collaboration with children, parents, colleagues, and partner organizations. We work across the entire municipality, which means meeting families in their homes, in our own facilities, and sometimes at other locations. We Are Looking for You It is important that you have experience working in social services and supporting children and parents. We offer interventions through many different methods and approaches. The tasks require you to be a social worker or have other education we deem equivalent. Desirable but not required are qualifications and knowledge in Trygghetscirkeln, ABC, Marte Meo, PYC, Komet, Support Group Leader Training, basic psychotherapy (Step 1). Experience with preventive support for children and parents, as well as family therapy, is meritorious. You should be able to make important priorities in various situations, sometimes of an urgent nature. You need good knowledge of Swedish and English and be familiar with the Office package in Windows. It is also advantageous to have knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic or Dari.
