The unit consists of 15 therapists who are passionate about ensuring that children and young people grow up in good living conditions. Open care is undergoing an exciting development where interventions are evolving in close collaboration with other key actors such as the region and the police. Children and Youth are based on the principles of the Signs of Safety approach. In the role of family therapist, you will work with support interventions and treatment in families with socially complex life situations, where the goal is to help families find the right strategies to create lasting and positive change. You will have the opportunity to largely shape and plan your workday, but it requires that you are flexible and find effective solutions. The starting point is that the work is conducted in the environments deemed most suitable, which can be at home, through digital communication, in public spaces, at school, etc. The assignment involves extensive collaboration with other functions, such as investigative social workers, other therapists in the unit, and external partners. Who are you? In Youth Open Care, you represent the Social Services for Children and Youth to clients, citizens, and partners. You therefore possess a broad knowledge of the social services' authority, interventions, and care and treatment work, and can make independent assessments in cases. Personal qualities: - You are engaged and motivated in your role and see the potential for change in individuals, recognizing the young person's network as a resource. - You are flexible and solution-focused. - You have good self-awareness and can work independently and in a structured manner. - You contribute to a positive work climate characterized by collaboration and focus on the mission. Requirements: - Degree in Social Work or comparable education and experience in treatment work with youth and families - B driver's license - Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written - Proficient in using computers and the Office suite. Meritorious: - Trained family therapist (Step 1) - Trained in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) - Experience working with the operational system Combine - Experience with Signs of Safety We place great importance on your personal qualities.
