About the Role and Your Responsibilities Being a Family Treatment Worker at the Youth Residential Care Home involves: - Providing professional adult support in the youth's daily life at the residence and being responsible for their daily care. - Encouraging youth to create a good social network, motivating them towards education, and helping them find a meaningful and active, prosocial leisure time. - Supporting youth in their studies and development, both in understanding how Swedish society functions and working towards their independence in all matters. - Supporting the youth's contact with their family. - Being a contact person for multiple youth, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with guardians and social workers to establish and follow up implementation plans. - Maintaining good contact with the youth, school staff, and other important persons/functions for the youth. - Responsibilities are distributed among staff based on previous experience and interests. Creating routines and coordinating within one's area of responsibility in consultation with colleagues and youth. We are available to youth 24 hours a day, so evening and weekend work is included (not night shifts). We Are Looking for Someone Who: - Is passionate about social work and has some form of post-secondary education such as social pedagogy, behavioral science, social work, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. Meriting qualifications include training in MI, Solution Focus, BEOK, or NPF diagnoses. To succeed in the work, you need to be good at building and maintaining relationships. You must be able to take initiative and easily adapt to new circumstances. Good problem-solving skills and the capacity to lead yourself and others are also qualities the employer considers important. The work also requires strong empathetic abilities. The Youth Residential Care Home is a treatment facility for youth between 14 and 20 years old, offering a clear daily structure, a safe living environment, and treatment staff 24 hours a day. There are six places plus an emergency placement. The Youth Residential Care Home helps youth strengthen what already works and helps minimize risks in their own behavior or environment.
