Eksätra HVB is a municipal treatment home for children and adolescents of school age with neuropsychiatric diagnoses or severe behavioral issues, often with problematic school absenteeism.
Eksätra HVB has capacity for six children and adolescents. The children and adolescents at Eksätra HVB are typically placed under the Social Services Act (SoL). The staff includes social workers, leisure educators, behavioral scientists, psychologists, and treatment assistants. The facility also has its own chef.
Working hours are scheduled during the day and reported as trust-based framework hours.
Job Description
As a family therapist, you will work on psychosocial change processes together with young people, their families, and networks. The work is carried out through qualified family conversations in various configurations, often alongside the responsible therapist in the youth's team. The goal of family therapy is to strengthen parental skills and interaction abilities, resolve relational, emotional, and behavioral issues within the family or parts of it. Families receive assistance to utilize their own competencies and abilities to manage everyday life. In the role of team leader, you will lead the team around the placed youth.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a university degree in social work, behavioral science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. We expect you to have further training in systems theory, CBT, or similar. To succeed in this role, you need several years of experience in psychosocial treatment work. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
We also welcome other relevant qualifications in the field. Experience working with the target group is considered an asset.
As a person, you are calm and composed in various situations and can focus on the right issues. You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have the ability to maintain a holistic view and see issues from a broader perspective. This job suits you if you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
