Our work team of family therapists, youth and adult counselors, field workers, support educators, and housing support staff is characterized by trust, responsibility, and community, and we value well-being and a positive work climate where we collectively drive development forward. We are seeking an engaged, curious, and innovative family therapist for the social services' open care, where we are currently undergoing an exciting transformation in line with the new Social Services Act. We are intensifying our preventive work, offering support without needs assessment, and improving accessibility for residents of Emmaboda Municipality. As a family therapist, the work can involve both independent work and team-based work with families. You will focus on parents' readiness for change, children's needs, and family interactions. You will collaborate with social workers and other professionals within and outside the municipality, such as preschool, school, disability support (LSS), and the regional child and adolescent psychiatry and habilitation, to create sustainable solutions and strengthen the family's network. The position includes mentoring foster families. Your work is based on systems theory, attachment theory, and developmental psychology, focusing on the resources of individuals and families. The work is centered on the needs of the individuals and families involved, which requires the ability to adapt working methods to needs and situations. Time and place of work may vary accordingly. In accordance with a knowledge-based social service, the position includes following up, analyzing, and developing one's own work, as well as contributing to the work group's collective follow-up, analysis, and development of the activities. QUALIFICATIONS Hold a degree in Social Work or other relevant higher education. Experience in psychosocial change work with children, youth, and families is meritorious. Training in Parental Support Methods is meritorious.
