About the Position
Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO) provides healthcare for residents in the Stockholm Region and is responsible for IT services supporting healthcare work. SLSO has recently implemented a major initiative to establish a new management structure, and this role will be an important part of developing and working within this structure.
As an IT Management Leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined area of the organization's IT services. Initially, you will focus on passage and call systems, but the role is designed to be part of our new management model where you are one of several management leaders.
To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone with experience in system management, project management, and technical solutions within healthcare-related infrastructure or similar areas. You have a good understanding of how technology supports operational needs and enjoy driving work that combines strategic thinking with practical implementation.
Your primary work tasks will include:
Functioning as a bridge between IT, operations, and suppliers to create shared understanding, engagement, and clear deliveries
Managing and driving continuous improvement for IT services by measuring, following up, and analyzing service performance and cost-effectiveness
Prioritizing management needs based on value, quality, time, resources, overall goals, and operational needs – in close consultation with management, central support functions, service owners, and operations
Leading work within management, including developing management plans, contract management, budget work, and follow-up of finances and deliveries
Participating and leading dialogue with subcontractors, both internally and externally
Coordinating system implementations and upgrades and operational needs in coordination with other actors
We are seeking someone who:
Has project management experience and ability to plan, drive, and follow up work from start to finish based on time, budget, and goals
Good knowledge of Swedish and well-developed presentation techniques
Good skills in using Office 365
Solid experience working with subcontractors
Experience with procurement and requirements management
Solid experience in process work
Qualifications:
Academic degree in systems science, computer science, or equivalent field
At least five years of experience in IT or technology, preferably in roles such as management leader, project manager, or equivalent
Solid understanding of management work and experience working according to ITIL, PM3, or similar frameworks
Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Meritorious:
Experience working with IT systems with a particular focus on security issues
Experience driving and leading IT-related issues within the healthcare sector
Personal Characteristics:
