Job Responsibilities The Property and Service Administration provides regional operations with the conditions to fulfill their missions by providing facilities/properties, healthcare-adjacent services, transportation, logistics, and catering. The region has significant property investment needs in the coming years. Ongoing major construction projects such as the new emergency hospital in Västerås need to be secured while simultaneously managing and maintaining the existing property portfolio. Development needs are substantial and must be balanced against the region's economic conditions. Together with politicians, colleagues, and experienced employees, you will contribute to ensuring the region makes the right investments and continuously works on existing property conditions and expansion or phase-out. Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with: • Multiple years of leadership experience in a large, complex organization • Relevant academic education • Experience in property management, property development, and service operations • Experience with procurement and public procurement legislation • Experience in leadership within a politically governed organization, preferably in a region or municipality • Strong experience with digitalization in property and service operations • Proven project management and financial management skills Personal Characteristics As Management Director, you are expected to be a leadership role model through engaging, communicative, and strategic leadership.
