Assignment Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Property Management Director for a long-term consulting assignment starting by mutual agreement, preferably within the next two months. The assignment is full-time and estimated to last approximately one year.
Location is in Northern Stockholm, with primarily on-site work and the possibility of remote work when needed.
Your Responsibilities
As Property Management Director, you will have overall responsibility for a larger property portfolio and lead a team of around ten people in management, operations, and rental services. You will be responsible for both strategic development and daily operations, focusing on quality, commitment, and strong customer relations.
The role involves comprehensive responsibility for results, personnel, and operations, working both strategically and operatively to create an efficient and sustainable management with the customer at the center.
Your primary responsibilities include:
• Leading and coaching an engaged team and creating a work environment characterized by clarity, collaboration, and commitment.
• Developing and following up on budget, business plan, and results.
• Working long-term on strategy, portfolio development, and maintenance planning.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, self-checks, and property owner responsibilities.
• Maintaining and developing good relations with residential and commercial tenants.
• Responsible for efficient operations, service, and contract management.
• Contributing to a strong customer experience and well-functioning management together with your team.
About the Client
Our client is an established housing company with a long-term focus on management and development of rental properties. The company works to create attractive, sustainable, and well-maintained living environments for its tenants.
Your Background
We are seeking an experienced and confident leader with a background in property management and rental housing. You thrive in a role that combines strategic work with operational responsibility and where, through your leadership, you create structure and engagement in the team.
You have documented experience leading personnel, preferably both white-collar and blue-collar workers. Experience in leading other managers is meritorious.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Several years of leadership experience in property management.
• Good understanding of the rental housing market and property owner responsibilities.
• Experience with budgeting, financial follow-up, and business planning.
• Ability to lead change and development work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
