Management Group's Work The Outdoor Environment Management Group is part of the Public Outdoor Environment Unit. The Outdoor Environment Management currently consists of nine employees in the areas of lighting, structures, streets, waste management, traffic signals, wildlife management, natural areas, and parks/playgrounds. The group works, for example, with monitoring contractor work, handling citizen inquiries, and setting requirements for the development of public land. Nacka Municipality aims to offer attractive living environments and maximum value for taxpayers' money. The management group has a significant opportunity to clearly contribute to the fulfillment of these goals. Job Description The position involves the management of facilities within the technical areas of structures, traffic signals, and elevators on public land. It is a broad management area with many contacts with contractors, project managers, and construction managers. Examples of facilities included in the management assignment are: bridges, rock cuts, traffic bridges, traffic signals, elevator shafts with elevator mechanics, and quay facilities. Typical tasks include: - Handling and resolving urgent faults and functional deficiencies within the management assets through orders to contracted contractors. - Planning, coordinating, and ordering the implementation of operational and maintenance work. - Planning, coordinating, and ordering the implementation of maintenance work within the reinvestment program of the management area. - Planning and coordinating ongoing operational measures. - Assisting as a technical expert and requirement setter in urban planning and development projects. To support you in your work, there are construction managers and technical consultants available to assist with complex issues and monitoring ongoing work. The management area is broad, and there is some opportunity to steer the work according to personal interests and desired development direction. What We Are Looking For We believe you have a degree from a technical university and have worked for a few years. Alternatively, you have several years of work experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience with technical descriptions and quantity lists according to AMA construction standards and are familiar with AB04 and ABK09. You can read and interpret construction documents and are eager to engage with technical investigations and reports. In the role of the municipality's expert in structures, you will take on the role of reviewer for new public facilities in Nacka Municipality. In the review assignments, you have the ability to see the big picture while also contributing your knowledge at a detailed level. You are used to working independently and are comfortable making your own decisions within the given mandate. The role involves both individual work and many internal and external contacts. You have an organized working style and good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. You work goal-oriented, set and adhere to time and budget frameworks, and have an interest in operational and maintenance issues. Meritorious - Previous experience in the management of technical facilities. - Experience in municipal operations.
