About this role

The Swedish Armed Forces Alarm Center (FMLC) conducts alarm monitoring for the Armed Forces' specially prioritized objects and equipment. **Main Responsibilities** The position of alarm operator at FMLC involves monitoring alarmed objects. You will receive and relay incoming alarms according to established procedures and collaborate with relevant parties during alarms and interventions. The role also includes administering entry/exit at monitored objects as well as other tasks at the alarm center. The position requires round-the-clock service. **About the Organization** FMTIS Operations Unit (DriftE) conducts technical monitoring, operational oversight, as well as maintenance and remote troubleshooting measures within the Armed Forces' (FM) strategic network. DriftE allocates and prioritizes tasks to FMTIS Implementation Units (GE) regarding operational, expansion, and maintenance tasks on command support systems. **Qualifications** - 3-year upper secondary education, or equivalent competence or experience deemed relevant by the employer - Good computer skills - Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written - B driver's license (manual) **Desirable Qualifications** - Completed military service and/or Basic Military Training (GMU) - Previous service in any of the FM operational units - Prior experience in a similar role within the Armed Forces - Experience with shift work (day and night) - Previous experience in security or surveillance services - Prior experience in roles involving customer contact - Previous experience in administrative work **Personal Attributes** We are looking for someone with high personal integrity and a strong security mindset. You possess good social skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. The role may require service at other locations (business travel) to a lesser extent, e.g., joint training days, etc. Permanent employment (a six-month probationary period applies for those currently not employed by the Armed Forces).
