The Swedish Armed Forces is seeking individuals who want to become officers at the Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre (FMUndSäkC).

The Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre is a hub for training and development within the national and international intelligence and security services of the Armed Forces. The centre is joint across the Armed Forces and was established in 1998 when the Air Force and Army intelligence schools, along with the Defence Language School, were consolidated at Uppsala Garrison.
Special Officer Training
You will receive special officer training (SOFU). This training will commence within one month of your employment and will last for 18 months.
The mandatory training components for SOFU are:
- Command Course - mission training at FHS Karlberg, approximately 26 weeks.
In addition, necessary competency development/training will be required to meet the specific demands of the position. Adjustments to the training content may occur based on any prior military education the individual may have.

Position
We are looking for individuals who want to become officers with a focus on the area of Imagery Intelligence; initially, the position will involve a role as a teacher in the subject.
Unit
The Training Unit meets the Armed Forces' need for intelligence and security personnel through methodology and analysis training in intelligence and security services. The unit is organized into the Security Forces Division, Intelligence Division, Security Division, and Imagery Intelligence Division (Bildundavd). The Security Forces Division is located in Halmstad, while the other divisions are in Uppsala.
Imagery Intelligence Division
The current position is based at the Imagery Intelligence Division (BildUndavd), where the teaching team trains the Armed Forces' Imagery Analysts. The training in the division includes recognition skills, image analysis, and intelligence photography. The division is in an expanding phase, where additional teachers are being recruited to meet the Armed Forces' increasing need for imagery analysts.
Qualifications
- An academic degree of at least 180 credits from a university or college, including a written thesis of at least 15 credits.
- Basic military training and an understanding of what is expected of you in your upcoming role as an officer.
- Adequate color vision.
- Good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Conduct in accordance with the Armed Forces' values and code of conduct.
- A valid driver's license (B category).
Meritorious
- Leadership experience from professional or voluntary work.
- Education relevant to the Armed Forces.

You are a responsible individual who seeks out and drives your tasks, is dynamic, and provides support where needed. The position requires excellent stress resilience and collaboration skills. You have the ability to prioritize and are pedagogical. You are flexible and view the entire Armed Forces as your workplace in a future officer career.
