Job Responsibilities Hyltevägen 1 Preschool works with a literature profile that creates language-developing and enjoyable learning. This means that together with preschools in the area, we work with a story throughout an academic year. The story serves as a common thread through the entire education and is the method for meeting the preschool curriculum goals. Here, you will participate in developing and promoting children's learning through professional teaching tailored to our children. You will be driven to develop our accessible learning environments based on our literature profile. At the preschool, we work to develop sustainable routines, stable organization, and clear structures that support children's development. The position involves significant time in child groups where you conduct teaching and also mentor, provide feedback, and share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues. The position also includes allocated time for planning, reflection, systematic quality work, and supervision. We need a lead preschool teacher for this work. Together with the principal and special education teacher, you will help shape an organization that makes a difference in children's development and learning. As a lead preschool teacher, you are responsible, along with colleagues and the principal, for leading and developing the preschool's activities towards curriculum goals. Together, you will work to create a shared understanding of teaching and learning processes. The role of lead preschool teacher also involves supporting and guiding colleagues in teaching development based on scientific grounds and proven experience. You will monitor the outside world and update yourself on research relevant to preschool. You will lead and contribute to the development of collaborative learning spaces based on identified needs and have an expanded responsibility for systematic quality work. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed preschool teacher who is well-versed in the preschool teacher's mission to lead and be responsible for the teaching conducted. You can document at least four years of well-regarded work with teaching in preschool and have experience in improving teaching through various learning methods and tools. You have good knowledge of choosing relevant learning tools in teaching based on the children's group needs. In your role as a preschool teacher, you have demonstrated a particularly good ability to improve pedagogical approach and have a strong interest in developing education and teaching. You have the ability to create engagement and good relationships with children, guardians, and preschool staff. You can support and challenge colleagues from a scientific approach and see opportunities for change to achieve development. You also have a good ability to analyze teaching through systematic quality work and translate theory into practice.
