**Job Responsibilities**
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Social Worker to join our team, as one of our Senior Social Workers is moving to another unit within the city area.

The Adults LSS in the Center consists of 14 social workers, two social administrators, and two Senior Social Workers. Our office is located at Första Långgatan 21, where we work in an open office environment alongside four other regulatory units in the Center. The unit handles cases for adults with disabilities who request services under LSS. For these individuals, we also assess their right to support under SoL. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead social workers in their daily tasks to ensure they can perform their duties effectively. You are responsible for ensuring that the social workers operate in accordance with the political mandate and the laws and regulations that govern our work. You will also guide the social workers to maintain a client-focused approach, where adapting information and meetings is crucial, as well as making individual assessments for each person. You are part of the unit's management team, which consists of the unit manager and senior staff, and you will lead from the management line to the social workers, as well as from the social workers upward in the hierarchy. A key part of the role is to adapt your leadership and methodological support to the varying needs of the social workers. You have a coaching approach, where the goal is to help social workers make appropriate judgments, priorities, and assessments on their own, thereby contributing to their and the unit's development. You are actively involved in promoting professional collaboration both internally and externally. The role also involves representing the administration in various contexts within the city and representing the board in administrative and appellate courts.
As a unit manager, I practice a trust-based leadership style where we lead each other together, based on our respective areas of responsibility. The work environment should be unpretentious and developmental. The city area is HBTQI-certified.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for candidates who have a degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You must also have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have significant experience in regulatory practice within LSS and SoL and possess a strong interest and expertise in investigating and assessing the service of personal assistance. You have firsthand experience working as a social worker. The role of Senior Social Worker involves being part of the administration's legal expertise in LSS and SoL. Experience in a leadership role and experience in other areas of regulatory practice are considered advantageous.
