**Description**
The social services are facing significant changes with a new social services act coming into effect on July 1, 2025.
The law means that social services support will become more preventive, easily accessible, equitable, and knowledge-based. The individual's needs will be prioritized, while collaboration between different actors will become increasingly important. The assistance officer unit in Bollnäs Municipality is presented with an exciting challenge to develop our working methods to meet the requirements of the new social services act. The lead assistance officer will play a key role in this work. The assistance officer unit consists of 8 SoL assistance officers, housing coordinators, and a unit manager.
The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date is to be agreed upon.
**Responsibilities**
We are looking for someone who wants to lead, inspire, and develop an engaged team within public authority operations. With us, you will have a key role in ensuring legal security, quality, and efficiency in decisions that affect people's daily lives.
The role includes, among other things:
- Coordinating and supporting daily operational work
- Preparing materials for case reviews and leading discussions on quality and legal security
- Contributing to the interpretation of legislation and case law
- Disseminating current knowledge and actively monitoring the external environment
- Contributing to the development of working methods, routines, and structure
- Monitoring goals and results
- Representing the unit in various collaborative forms and building good relationships both internally and externally
**Qualifications**
You are a confident individual who adapts your approach to the situation. You are responsible, organize your work, and drive your processes forward. You have good collaboration skills, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive attitude towards your work, acting in accordance with decisions made, policies, and guidelines. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To work with us, you need to have a valid driver's license (B).
**Requirements:**
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent higher education that the employer deems comparable.
- Experience working with the target group and knowledge of public authority operations, particularly within SoL.
- Strong communicative and pedagogical skills.
- Experience in collaboration at various levels.
**Meritorious:**
Experience in leadership, preferably in a public organization. Documented leadership training. You have participated in various change initiatives and organizational transformations.
