We are now seeking a preschool teacher for Svalan Preschool. We work together to create a safe and learning environment for children. The preschool is centrally located in Grums and consists of four departments. This position is in a department with children aged 3-5 years. You will become part of a team with two additional preschool teachers, where we collectively develop education and learning environments for children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum. You will engage with children according to their interests and needs, working to ensure each child feels a sense of belonging, joy, and development.
In our team, we collectively reflect on and develop learning environments to make them clear and accessible to the group's needs. In our pedagogical development work, you will have support from two special education teachers, and we use the documentation tool Tyra to support planning and follow-up.
We work with collegial learning and conduct five training days per year focusing on skills development and improving our approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a trained preschool teacher who recognizes children's strengths and needs in daily work. You should be able to adapt teaching to the group and collaborate well with colleagues and guardians.
You enjoy taking responsibility and contributing to an open and positive work climate where we learn from each other. You want to help drive the operation forward and share our core values: professional, welcoming, engaged, and participatory.
