At Ulvegärde Preschool, you will have the opportunity to work together with colleagues and contribute to laying a solid foundation for children's lifelong learning.
Together, we create and offer children a fun and educational experience.
Our preschool works with a shared story each academic year, and this year we are focusing on "When Mama Mu First Met the Crow". Through our collaborative work, we share knowledge and ideas, which we believe contributes to an equitable, enjoyable, and educational teaching approach. Children experience theater, music, and movement based on the story.
Our outdoor area is large and offers a varied learning environment with integrated forest areas.
Our focus area is learning through play.
We work to provide all children with an accessible learning environment and use clarifying pedagogy.
We will continue to develop our work based on the revised curriculum for 2025.
Kungälv preschools offer shared professional development, and we are currently developing skills in learning through play.

Job Responsibilities
As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that education and teaching are well-anchored in preschool policy documents, and that systematic quality work is planned, implemented, analyzed, and developed.
You will lead development forward and ensure children receive secure care and high-quality, enjoyable, and educational instruction. We work collaboratively in teams, with colleagues, other partners, and guardians.
The position also requires taking initiative, working independently, and being able to work alone with a small group of children. It is important that you see opportunities, are empathetic and creative, maintain a holistic perspective, and can make decisions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Preschool teaching certification
- Excellent Swedish language skills
- Familiarity with digitalization as part of the role
- Experience with clarifying pedagogy, such as TAKK and visual support
