The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and Elementary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool, school-age childcare, primary education, and adapted primary education. Workplace
We are now seeking a preschool teacher for a full-time temporary position at Vista Preschool, where you will have the honor of working with the youngest children during the spring semester. The temporary position is full-time and runs from January 7th to June 26th, 2026.

Your Profile
As a preschool teacher, you will implement the preschool curriculum in your daily work and be responsible for actively and systematically leading, planning, and quality-assuring daily activities through pedagogical documentation. You have a reflective and pedagogically conscious approach to the preschool's mission, creating contexts characterized by warmth, clarity, and a strong focus on meaningfulness and democratic processes. You actively and consciously work with learning environments both indoors and outdoors, viewing non-human elements as equally important as interpersonal relationships. As a person, you are engaged, driven, and see opportunities and solutions in most situations. You have good collaborative skills, are curious and creative, with a strong understanding of the "hundred languages" concept. You should also be able to connect theory with practice and contribute to creating a shared vision at the preschool.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
• Is a licensed preschool teacher
• Has a reflective approach
• Can use documentation to reflect and communicate processes
• Has the ability to learn and think anew
• Can handle resistance sensitively and constructively, embracing feedback as part of continuous learning
• Can lead the work team and child group daily, working towards shared understanding and development
Qualifications
• Teaching license and degree for work as a preschool teacher
• Ability to express oneself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Previous experience as a preschool teacher is considered meritorious. For this position, you must be able to present a valid criminal record extract before employment can commence.
