About this role
We are now seeking an engaged preschool teacher for Ugglum Preschool!
At our preschool, the child is at the center, and we strive to provide children with a safe, educational, and enjoyable time with us.
As a preschool teacher, you will work to create a high-quality education for our children based on relational learning. The preschool is a democratic meeting place that values differences, listening, and participation. It is a place for collective learning, knowledge creation, culture, and identity. The educator's task is to listen to children's experiences, thoughts, and ideas, and based on this, conduct teaching that focuses on the preschool's goals to further challenge the children.
At our preschool, environments are dynamic and adapt to children's interests. Children should have the opportunity to experience enriching encounters and feel that "we become better together". Children will be met with respect where they are, coming to preschool with their own experiences, knowledge, expectations, thoughts, and ideas. The workplace is characterized by a good community, enthusiasm, and professionalism based on our mission. We have established structures for pedagogical development and collegial learning for all educators.
Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed preschool teacher with an interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Previous experience working as a preschool teacher is meritorious. Knowledge and experience with systematic quality work is also advantageous.
You are curious and creative as a person and have a good ability to create relationships and trust. We also wish that you:
- Are driven to create an education where children can develop and acquire new knowledge based on their conditions, thoughts, and experiences.
- See the child as competent, where their curiosity and interests guide education and teaching.
- Believe that every child should have the same opportunities to try and develop abilities and interests without limitations.
- Want to create a high-quality education together with your colleagues.
- Believe, like us, in collegial learning and that we become much better together.
- Think it is important to create a trusting relationship with guardians.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Welcome to us!
