The Learning Administration is now seeking a preschool teacher for Norrgården Preschool. Norrgården Preschool is located in the northern Iggesund residential area, with the forest nearby, approximately 10 kilometers south of Hudiksvall. The preschool has four departments for children aged 1-5 years. The outdoor area is large and consists of both forest, natural grounds, and planned spaces. The outdoor environment contributes to natural exploration together with the children. We work to create good learning environments with play as a language-learning foundation both indoors and outdoors. We view play and joyful learning as significant assets in our teaching. Job Responsibilities As the responsible preschool teacher, you will: - Collaborate with another preschool teacher to plan, follow up, and evaluate the educational activities based on the preschool's curriculum. - Work with the team to implement educational activities for children in the 1-5 age group. - Engage in pedagogical documentation and reflection. With us, you are part of a large team that supports each other in all situations, regardless of where one works in the preschool. Here, we see all children as everyone's children and collaborate extensively across departments. This contributes to the children feeling secure with the educators. We work systematically and purposefully to create a shared understanding of our mission according to the Education Act and curriculum. Collegial learning is very important here, and we share our thoughts and ideas with each other. We use the documentation tool Unikum, where we systematically document and provide guardians with opportunities for influence and participation. We offer mentoring support for one year for newly graduated preschool teachers and operate based on a career ladder that provides career opportunities for preschool teachers. Your Profile We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher and place great emphasis on personal suitability. We seek someone who is engaged, structured, attentive, and accommodating in their interactions. You possess good collaboration skills and are receptive. You communicate effectively and can handle conflicts constructively. It is important that you are independent, responsible, positive, and provide children, guardians, and staff with a professional approach. About the Administration We teach children to read, count, and discover the world around them. Here, we follow our youngest community members from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue a longer education.
