About this role

Are you a creative and curious preschool teacher who wants to help develop inspiring learning environments? At Änglagård, you'll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life together with children and colleagues. Whether you are experienced or new to the profession, we value your drive, curiosity, and willingness to think innovatively. Warmly welcome to apply! About the Position Here, you'll become an important part of an engaged team consisting of a preschool teacher and a childcare assistant in one of our three mixed-age departments. Together with your colleagues, you will work to create the best education for our children, providing opportunities to engage with the curriculum through both planned and spontaneous teaching, and supporting individual and group development. Play and movement are central to our operations, and we constantly strive to improve and develop our learning environments. We're on the right track, but there's still exciting work ahead. Through our project-oriented approach, we capitalize on children's influence over their daily lives and aim to ensure that both children and guardians feel involved in the education. We actively work to build trusted relationships to create a safe and stimulating learning environment together. Since spring 2023, we have participated in a three-year research program through Ifous focusing on language development. The program is now complete, but we carry forward the experiences and continue to develop our language-supporting approach. We also focus on play and movement through further education and collegial learning. Example Tasks: • Lead, organize, plan, and implement teaching through a project-oriented approach • Ensure education is documented, followed up, analyzed, and developed • Use and develop methods and working approaches based on scientific grounds and proven experience • Ensure individual children and groups have their needs met, through a democratic approach grounded in our governing documents • Provide a good environment for care, development, play, and learning • Responsible for the content, design, and implementation of development conversations About the Workplace Änglagård is located in Lundby and has three departments with a large shared hall, a common square, and a large partially renovated yard. It's close to both forest and playgrounds that the preschool regularly visits and uses in its teaching. The preschool is directly adjacent to Lundby School, and the city bus stops right outside. Änglagård is one of three preschools in the Lundby preschool area. Here, you'll have scheduled planning time consisting of individual planning, team reflection, and collegial learning. You'll have access to digital equipment for documentation and other digital work. Outerwear is also provided. Lundby is part of a training preschool area for university students, in collaboration with other preschool areas. Newly graduated preschool teachers are offered mentoring conversations with an experienced preschool teacher during their first year. Qualifications We're seeking someone who is confident and stable. You are responsible with a good ability to plan and organize work efficiently, both individually and with colleagues. As a person, you are attentive, easy to collaborate with, and communicate from a solution-focused perspective, with a respectful and positive approach. You have a good understanding of human differences and meet each child according to their conditions and needs. You are inventive and creative, think innovatively, and readily share your ideas and thoughts. You have a flexible approach and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you must master the Swedish language to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, and be able to document what the operation requires. As the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required. We place great importance on personal suitability.
